Hi all. Having looked at all the stunning photography on the site over the past few months I decided to join WAB. Not that I'm a photographer, just that I have a love of all things natural, especially the nature of our fair Island. Hopefully over the months ahead I may be able to help out with identification or simply add my bit in sharing experiences.

As a sign off, doesn't the snow make the birds colours seem more vivid?

Hi Green Man Welcome to WAB. You'll learn a lot on here, everyone is very knowledgable and friendly. as far as helping out with ID's goes it looks like you're already making a good start re Thrushes (wasn't totally sure myself).
