Wild Boar

I went out on Sunday morning at the crack of dawn (6am) looking for deer. I had just got into the wood which is about quater of a mile from my house and saw a man with a dog walking along the path. About 30 seconds of disapearing around the corner he came back and made off to the side, I carried on and as I got to about 12 ft away from the path a Boar stepped out. Now I have never seen one and was buzzing with excitement. I clicked off a couple of shots before realising that I hadnt focused the camera. Adjusting the focus I managed to get a few more shots before it disappeared around the corner.
Deciding not to follow I made off after the man and his dog who, as I got to the next path came running back out chased by the boar. Stopping for a chat he told me that the boar is there most mornings and that if hes not with his dog it ignores him but charges everythime he takes the dog with him.
We decided to carry on into the wood and as we walked along the path we kept looking to the left as this is where we last seen it. Creeping wearily along I realised that it wasnt on our left but it was stood about 8 ft on our right just staring at us. I fired off a few more shots as the man carried on out of harms way. Sadly these shots never came out due to camera shake. All of a sudden the boar got spooked and ran off now I can see why people get hurt by these animals. It was like a steam train crashing through the bushes.
Such an experience and one of my top wildlife experiences ever and I cant wait to have some more this weekend.
I hopefully will get some deer this time too.
