Blackwater Arboretum - 19th Jan 08

Had a couple of hours free again this afternoon which meant only a short walk so I decided to cheat again & have a look at the Hawfinches coming in at the Arboretum.
Got there at 3.30pm, so missed most of them, but I did manage to see about 4 or 5.
Also about were the Bullfinches, Chaffinches, Wren, Robins, Greenfinch, Blue & Coal Tits, a Jay calling, Nuthatch & some Siskins calling.
Also heard my first Goldcrest of the year singing. Also singing were Song & Mistle Thrush.
