Wild Winds
Posted 28-11-2011 at 07:57 AM by Botticelliwoman
The bird feeder ended up in a heap yesterday, tipping out most of the sunflower hearts into the border (why is it always the most expensive stuff???) I just hope the hedgepigs got to it before the rats did last night.
Never buy those ridiculous pop up cold-frames; they collapse under the weight of rain (and snow presumably) and the same winds that felled the feeder sent both of mine sailing off; one of them I thought gone for good but I've heard reports that the next-door-but-one neighbour has found some wierd polythene device in her yard.
Now the gales have passed I need to get out in the garden and tidy up....so much for cleaning out the leaves from the pond on Saturday!
