The moon rises Mid Eclipse at 15.51hrs.For Uk Observers.Likely to be cloudy.Partial cloud may obscure eclipse in my area.But some may be lucky enough to see it in the daylight as the moon will be full.So here's hopeing...

Saw moon with a 'peck' out of the top ~1610UT as it rose in NE before it rose into cloud and was gone as seen from 1st floor window with family.

Saw the orange moon through the binos with the bit out the top as-well.No photos though.

I wonder if anyone could please tell me what caused the halo around the full moon last night? I am trying to explain it to my grand daughter. All help gratefully received, thank you. |
