I used the scope to have a look at it. Problem with the scope is that it has a smaller field of view than an astronomical telescope so finding Jupiter took a while, but the Galilean moons were clear and I managed to see a couple of bands on the planet.

| | | Re: Starry starry night Using Spotting scope allows the scope to be manoeuvred into positions very quickly.Often do it when sky is not so clear bacause of patchy cloud.Saw Jupiter myself very clear indeed.
