Great pics | Indeed - keep trying - another Ring Neb mix from last night with exposures from 5s - 30s. Longer exposures shows fainter stars and sharpening shows structure in nebula. The bluish central star in the nebula is the white dwarf star that illuminates the nebula

| | | Re: recent astro pics Lovely shots again.Some good seeing was had Sat night/Early Sunday.Milky way just full of stars.Little dipper showing up. Cassiopeia was very clear.Some good stars showing up there.Cygnus and Lyra was looked at.Last quarter of the moon viewed with a yellow filter showed craters well.Jupiter was just below and saw the Galilean Moons.4 hours viewing on my Skywatcher Explorer was worth staying up for.That was after a bar-b-q,wine and some of the hard stuff later.

I have seen M13 a few times, but the Ring has always eluded me.
