But it's so clear and a lot easier to watch than a solar eclipse and just as exciting |

I can't remember the last time I saw a lunar eclipse so clearly
Hope some of you got some good photos, mine just look like white dots too.
Excellent to watch though, very atmospheric |

Looks like we should be in for a good show |

| | | Re: March 3rd - Total Lunar Eclipse We've only got a tiny bit left, but the sky is getting increasingly hazy, so not sure if we'll get the full "copper" colouration when totallity comes. |

At the point of total Eclipse it was like had sudden hung a ball in space, and it kept changing from almost white to an orangey glow, I know it sounds daft but it didnt look like the moon for about 10 minutes!!
It is the first one i have seen and am impressed... hope someone has got some good Photo;s of it, cant wait to see them |

| | | Re: March 3rd - Total Lunar Eclipse Aboulutely amazing.... it's a crystal clear night up here in the Highlands and not too cold to be out with the binoculars. The colours are just beautiful, makes you feel very small in the grand scheme of things.
Have been 'phoning everyone to get out and have a look! |

| | | Re: March 3rd - Total Lunar Eclipse I'm not that impressed by it here in Birmingham. I just went out for a look and, despite it being a lovely clear night, I could hardly see the moon. |

Wonderful sight and a perfect night for it.
