Saw the ISS by chance this morning at 0440 passing W to E very close to the brightest star at 45 degrees up in the SE. |

Iss. Around in the evening again until 1st September.Saw it in this area at 22.10 last night.Times vary from 0830 end of month to 23.42 this week.So check Heavens Above for your own area.Or which site you use.

Two Shots at ISS tonight AS supposed to be clear tonight in my area.
...16:44 SW.--16:50 E....Then 18:20 W--1823 WSW.Have ago at spotting the passes... ... Around in Evening To January 5th 2012....aDm....

The evening second pass was seen.Rise was faint,dissapeared for 20 seconds then appeared a lot brighter.Finished showing directly overhead.Weather was windy and cold.....aDm...

Chanced on a fine ISS pass tonight over 4min centred @ 5.36PM - rising in WSW near Altair, passing high over square of Pegasus, though Great Andromeda Galaxy, under Perseus and fade into earth's shadow in Taurus in ENE as chart below.
It was very bright eg rivaling planet Jupiter in SE. It should return in 90min eg just before 7pm with luck but may enter 'shadow' early.  | | | |
