I spent 30 minutes this evening watching for Gemenids, and managed to catch just one on camera. 
It's the first time I've tried this - I'm amazed that I got one 
Weather permitting, I'll have another go tomorrow evening / Monday morning, when the maximum is predicted, I believe.

December 13/14 will be best time to see Gemenids.After 00.30 when first quarter moon has set. Good shot of a single meteor.Hope you get some more.

Spied a Geminid tonight in Cass [opposite side of sky from Gem] @ 1010pm Dec 12 whilst checking sky for clarity - and it was better than usual for London
Went on to record faint asteroid Scheila which apparently has turned "cometary" with tail in last 24 hours  |

Hoping to see some, but we have cloud and fog forecast later, as usual when these things are due. I did see a single shooting star one night last week, so guess that might have been the start of them. |

Dec 14 midnight - clear skies and 3 Geminids seen in 15min - two within 60sec in Canis Major nr Sirius v. bright mag -1 white; slow; one later in Leo nr Regulus mag 1.
Tried looking direct at radiant nr Castor/Pollux for head-on meteors but none seen even with my image intensifier [boosts view x10 fold] |
