| | | Gemenids meteor I spent 30 minutes this evening watching for Gemenids, and managed to catch just one on camera.
It's the first time I've tried this - I'm amazed that I got one
Weather permitting, I'll have another go tomorrow evening / Monday morning, when the maximum is predicted, I believe.

Went on to record faint asteroid Scheila which apparently has turned "cometary" with tail in last 24 hours |

Tried looking direct at radiant nr Castor/Pollux for head-on meteors but none seen even with my image intensifier [boosts view x10 fold] |
