| | | Re: tonights moon How does that happen?
Reminds me of that song: Quote:
I was grounded
While you filled the skies
I was dumbfounded by truth
You cut through lies
I saw the rain dirty valley
You saw "Brigadoon"
I saw the crescent
You saw the whole of the moon
I spoke about wings
You just flew
I wondered, I guessed and I tried
You just knew
I sighed
And you swooned
I saw the crescent
You saw the whole of the moon
The whole of the moon
The whole of the moon

| | | Re: tonights moon Phil, you captured my thoughts exactly, I was exactly the same, as I was driving home the sky was still blueish - about 4.30pm and there was the sliver of moon, yet I could pick out the outline of the whole moon. I too could not stop looking, craning my neck to look behind at times! Not good when driving! I had my camera in my rucksack, but just couldn't stop as road too busy. I told my friend when I popped in for a brew and hubby when I got home and received a non-interested response from both.....I suppose you had to be there!! ......hmmmmm WELL I thought it was lovely
