Planet Venus is a brilliant beacon in the early predawn southeast sky currently and can be just seen in full daylight too - pic taken at sunup this morning

first really clear sky for maybe 10days with Venus incredibly brilliant in SE sky before dawn - after a bathroom 'pit-stop'
Venus always seem brighter in the predawn sky rather than when Venus is an Evening Star and suspect the 'dark adaption' through overnight sleep make the eyes much more sensitive when it's still dark 
took this pic just before sunup @ 730am - if you know precisely where to look and are shaded from direct sunlight Venus can be seen in full daylight

I saw it too this morning. I wasn't sure which planet it was, but guessed at Venus.
