Orange Moon?!
Last night's rising moon was orange!
Can anyone tell me why this was please?
By the time I'd got my camera out, it had hidden behind the cloud!

All objects rising or setting are coloured redish due to the long lightpath through our atmosphere which absorbs blue light and thus skews the colour - as witnessed in a pretty sunset
