I understand that the moon tonight is the brightest it has been for 20 years. One problem - I can't see it! Let's hope the cloud lifts and we can catch a glimpse of this wonderful phenomenon. |

we have cloud here too but its so bright i can still see it!

We also have partial cloud cover here in Leicestershire, but the Moon is very bright and can be seen clearly through it. |

Nice to know others were also glancing skywards, at the same time as me. Eureka! I looked out several times during the night to see a clear bright moon spreading it's ethereal light over the garden. Result.  |

Cloudy last night, but rather clearer skies this morning and a very bright moon at about 7.30

Wonderful stuff beloved of lovers and poets,illicit alchohol manufacturers,
hunters,bombers and even a masonic lodge which only meets when the moon allows travel by horseback(this last item may not be strictly accurate but is near enough to be interesting)
The cloud cover restricted viewing to occasional bright patches,but was very good this morning | |
