| | | Sun Dog? Did anyone else notice the partial "sun dog" last evening, in the south of England? I think that is what they are called, although it may be an American name and we call them something different. At between approx 18:30 and 19:15 hrs there were some high, thin clouds and either side of the setting sun there were two bright patches like truncated rainbows. We have never noticed this phenomenon before.
