| | | ISS and resupply craft...? Hi folks hope everyone has been watching the ISS over the last 10 days or so it is a first for me and has been amazing so far I am not getting bored of this either, out nearly every night even when slightly overcast - and still managed to see it pierce the clouds
Tonight I think was the best with two good flybys - the second, in fairer weather - I noticed there was a fainter object leading the space station by about 45 seconds. Now skipping to Nasa's website am I right in thinking this is the failed resupply craft? |

| | | Re: ISS and resupply craft...? I cannot answer your question about the object, but would just like to say that I saw ISS at 23.49 on 5.7. I was surprised at how quickly it went...I thought it would pass by at a reasonable speed but it was "blink and miss it". Fascinating for me and chuffed that I managed to see it. I shall be watching again tonight. ) |

This was definitely leading the ISS (we initially thought it was the ISS!) in exactly the same path but I would say a few magnitudes darker, perhaps that of the average faint star... |

| | | Re: ISS and resupply craft...? Further to my note last night, I may have been mistaken in thinking I saw the ISS as tonight we watched it and it was slower and brighter than last night. Hubby tells me I probably saw a shooting star last night - ooops! | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
