| | | Buying a telescope Hi,
I'm new to astronomy and have always fancied buying a telescope that will allow to go out onto the Penines and stargaze. I don't want to spend a fortune, maybe just a few hundred quid and I'd rather buy a new one as opposed to secondhand.
Could anyone point me in the right direction and tell me a bit about what sort of thing I should be looking for and more importanly what I should avoid.
Thanks

| | We're currently putting together guides to buying telescopes, binoculars etc.
Not too sure how long it will be before they are finished, but we should definitely have done before Christmas
