| | | new comet from asteroid Apparently an asteroid in the asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter has been outgassing and thus become a comet  The comet's discovery just a week ago - my pic from tonight in 400s exp via 70mm aperture f/5 scope+CCD cam - v. powerful bins or scope need to view |

As a comet it's maybe x1000 brighter than it was as an asteroid |
