Aldi spotting scope

Lunar craters on moon's terminator via Optus s-scope from last night - not perfect but acceptable for the very modest outlay and typical of the astro-view through the scope. Frame taken from shaky video

I wish i had looked hear sooner, sounds like a good buy for £20 i'll have to keep a look out for them in the future

They are not on display in the store but in the secure-box at the checkout [or ask even now] - two left at my local Aldi and one bought for my daughter for use when at the coast

First sunspots on the face of the sun in ages. Picture taken this morning with cam held to eyepiece of Optus s-scope + all important Baader [safety] filter

ps: Don't point any scope at the sun WITHOUT a special safe filter in front of scope!
