| | | outside tempratures effecting camera Something ive been wondering for a while is, particulary during these cold evenings and taking astro piccys, when bringing the camera out from a warm room into the cold air digital cameras mainly, does this have an effect on the ccd? would it be better to let the camera aclimatise to the temp before taking shots? sometimes i find it it impossible to get a spot on focus of the moon for instance, and yet sometimes i have achieved a good clear focused shot, basically im wondering if this is down to the temp change effect, maybe its the lens that are affected by the drastic temp change? |

| | | Re: outside tempratures effecting camera Thanks just read that one, felt a bit of a twerp cause i missed it,
my question was more to do with the opposite effect of warm into cold and allowing things to well, chill a bit aclimatise is the only word i can come up with,
i read somewhere that telescopes esp mirror ones need that |
