My first attempts at moon photography

I got a new digital camera (10x optical zoom) for Christmas and have now found this place to share my pictures.
Hoping to learn a lot about photography and upload a lot of pics

hi stweedle,im sure youl get plenty advice here, good time to start your first moon captures, terrific full moon wasnt it + Mars as a bonus, im a learning too, so heres to lots of happy fullfilling camera work, most important thing a good tripod, a warm coat,
and lots of enthusiasm, all the best

Just gotta wait a little while for the tripod. Have to rest on the wifes head until then

Really liked the bright moon and mars. Got 1 decent pic which i'll upload later and gotta practice a lot on settings to get a good picture more often
