Just watched this video
YouTube - Our Solar System - Size Of Planets and Stars to Scale

Made me realise (from 1:30 of the vid onwards)...how do I put this.....how insignificant in size we are compared to other planets and stars in the galaxy. Especially compared with VV Cephei !!! Im new to astrnomy but is VV Cephei visible in England (if so when?)

bloomin' 'eck! I knew the sun was small compared to some other starts but never releised we were that tiny compared too some of the bigger ones!

Im with you Connor....considering the image shows VV cephei next to OUR SUN....meaning at this scale the earth is actually invisible....eeek.
