| | | moon through window glass At this time of year, with subzero temps, I observe through double glazing in either the front or rear porch at acceptable room temperatures - give it a try with binoculars or via your camera
This morning I looked at the sun in hydrogen light via my tiny PST telescope and here's the gibbous moon setting at dawn this morning plus a x40 zoomed shot inset that shows lunar craters - used my new Hitachi dual camcorder/ camera in camera mode on tripod - great [and comfortable] fun |

| | | Re: moon through window glass Here's a video clip made before breakfast from within our porch through glass of the crescent moon via my cheapo £18 Disgo Fun VGA vid-cam and Meade ETX-70 spotting scope at YouTube - DISGO fun cam - moon through my scope
Running low on food so might have to venture out in the snows and sub-zero temps |
