| | | VY Canis Majoris The death throes of the largest star known to science, VY Canis Majoris, have been observed by Herschel. It could explode as a supernova at anytime, I remember watching a programme that said when it explodes it will be visible from Earth even during the day. Anybody got any bets on when it will happen? In our lifetimes? I hope so |
