| | | triple conjunction at dawn These pics taken at dawn this morning [Oct 8] from the bathroom window 
It shows Saturn and Mercury [closest planet to the sun] with brilliant Venus above  In close-up shot a plane can be seen heading east to Europe and star beta Virginis. 
Last night it was announced Saturn has a newly discovered ring system of gigantic proportions much larger than our moon seen in the sky but inordinately faint and only recordable with special [infrared?] cameras
