giant flame on sun this morning!

Despite longest solar minimum for 100 years - the sun still puts on a display like this giant prominence of the east limb this morning through my h-alpha PST scope at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y_m3PnWgnOY

Beware - DON'T look at the sun through bins/telescope [or naked eye] WITHOUT special filters

I love seeing things like this - It puts the Earth into perspective in relation to what's going on in the Universe.

Your guess is as good as mine [for next solar max] but historically solar activity is usually supressed after a very long previous [as now] solar min

I used to visit an astonomy site with daily updates of the suns activity but lost it when this pc crashed. I can't remember the link, any ideas?
