Despite longest solar minimum for 100 years - the sun still puts on a display like this giant prominence of the east limb this morning through my h-alpha PST scope at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y_m3PnWgnOY
Beware - DON'T look at the sun through bins/telescope [or naked eye] WITHOUT special filters  |

I used to visit an astonomy site with daily updates of the suns activity but lost it when this pc crashed. I can't remember the link, any ideas?

There is spaceweather dot com that has the latest info and Aurora alerts etc. TRy that one.
