summer Milky Way
What does the Milky Way look like from your place? Here's a couple of wideangle pics of the Milky Way via my cam last week from my London garden - Cygnus at top and Aquila below - note the dark central band caused by interstellar dust





To the eye the MW was blanketed out years ago by light-pollution [we do love our lights don't we] but my cam sees otherwise.

Thanks Phoebe - I done a short vid showing my gear and results including IR daytime pics at YouTube - Milky Way returns to London skies! Hope it's of interest
