| | | StarMap apps for iPhone I read in the Daily Mirror today that application software [apps] for iPhone or Blackberry etc includes StarMap that identifies what constellation you're pointing your phone at in the sky - could be a boon for WAB astronomers - cost £6.99  phone extra
Other apps include europe SatNav [via GPS signal], spirit-level [and realistic beerglass drained as tilted] - these apps are combined, I suspect, in SkyMap - clever really.

| | Re: StarMap apps for iPhone I have tried quite a few of those astronomy apps and like Star Walk the best also with Digital Compass that activates the ''Star Spotter'' function and follows your movements once pointed at the sky. It works in an excellent way, very smooth, the graphic is superb and lots of info included.
