Yes, but I'll bet you haven't been 'non-antsy' and looked up, seen it's _not_ a full moon, and said "Oh, that explains that then."!

Like others here, I get more energetic around a full moon. And I can relate closely to what Pauline said earlier. I need no curtains on the bedroom window so the moon just shines in through the pines and lights the whole room. Sometimes it's good to just get out and walk the deserted lanes with only bats, owls and the like for company (only the very occasional police car or cab cruising by, but as I usually rise at 2 am anyway they're used to me by now

)

I don't know of any scientific reason for it, so it's probably psychological, plus the fact that the full moon just looks so damned beatiful, and makes everything else look seductively unearthly

But so many things in the natural world energise me in ways I can't explain - the moon's mistress, the sea, for instance

a tad dismissive especially following my first post....the you in the original question is the individual and the veiws/experiences/perceptions of those of us who wish to share them. this forum is about nature and to rationalise the natural world is to spoil the mystery and wonder that is the the essence of nature and life. everybody who replied to this question gave the correct answer. . . as they experience it.

I agree entirely with you Pauline, it's a lovely experience to sleep out in the woods occasionally, in the open, with the moon shining in your face, feeling it is protecting you somehow.
