| | | Venus @ dawn-only earlybirds need apply! A bathroom pitstop at dawn this morning and I spied Venus low in the east with a beautiful dawn birdsong chorus Later, before breakfast, plopped the ETX-70 on the patio and scanned left of its earlier position and got lucky - Venus came into view - all as videoed here.
Anyone else enjoying the Morning Star currently ?

| | | Re: Venus @ dawn-only earlybirds need apply! Hi nytecam. I set off to work at 5.30am and often see this really bright "star". Is this likely to be Venus? It isn't in the east though it's more westerly. Cheers. |

Cheers. | Venus is always near the sun and currently low down due east at dawn with sunrise later in the NE - hope that helps |
