| | | Partial Eclipse of the Sun I heard on the wireless this morning that there is a partial eclipse of the sun visible in Britain this morning (3rd October). Haven't had time to find the full details (and there's not a lot of point for me as we are under thick cloud this morning), but I gather 10am (BST) is the maximum coverage (c 60%) for anyone who is in sunshine. As always - don't look directly at the sun - project the image using a pinhole

| | | Cloud here stayed all through the eclipse period, but there are some interesting pictures on the BBC main website (at the moment!).
