| | | Perseid Meteors A bit of information here on the perseid meteor shower that is active this week.
The moons light gets in the way a bit but still worth having a look.

| | | Re: Perseid Meteors Just got back from doing a Daubenton's Bat survey. It was great leaning on a footbridge over the river listening to the bats below whilst watching the Perseids above: They made a fantastic combination.
The meteor rate wasn't that high though - I understand that it's likely to be a better show next year. |

| | | Re: Perseid Meteors A telescope really won't help with this kind of thing though. They are best seen with the naked eye because of the speed and amount of sky that each meteor covers.
