I saw this absolutely clearly tonight (Worcester) but had no idea it was occurring. I came here tonight to see if anybody knew anything about it, incredible spectacle.

I didn't see the actual occultation, but when I got in from work this evening, I saw all three objects close to one another, a beautiful sight.

I'd forgotten until we turned into our field and I exclaimed 'look at the moon!''.. and Jez mentioned we were going to go to a friends tonight to see it. We didn't need to it was beautiful.. with a frosty, twinkling field to go with it..purely magical

They mentioned this at the natural history society meeting tonight so I thought I would have a look on the way home but the cloud cover is too thick here to see anything.

Got a great view from the back room while cooking tonight. Called my girlfriend in to look, and the Little Girl came too, but didn't really get what we were looking at.

I caught it just as Venus was popping out from behind the Moon (someone on the radio described it as looking like someone with a diamond stud ear-ring - not sure I entirely like that analogy, but I can see where they were coming from). Really clear sky, really bright views - used the binoculars and it looked really spectacular.

It got a good plug on PM on Radio 4 - they interviewed someone from the Royal Greenwich Observatory. But like Hedge Witch, it was too cloudy here and I saw nothing.

A little to much cloud here, but a lot of people rang radio 2 asking why there was a dot on the moon.
