| | | Stellarium Hi,
Stellarium is a free open source planetarium for your computer. It shows a realistic sky in 3D, just like what you see with the naked eye, binoculars or a telescope.
It is being used in planetarium projectors. Just set your coordinates and go.
Great for beginners like me! and anyone else for that matter. Stellarium |

| | | Re: Stellarium Just had a mooch around on it tonight. The graphics are fantastic and the fact that its in real time too is great. What I really want to know is that when you zoom up on the sun, are the sunspots the actual sunspots at the moment. I will keep looking back to see!
Great resource especially when you need to see just what planet in near to any other object. Very, very useful. |
