| | | First full moon of 2008 Thought I'd best post this, after posting on the last full moon of 2007...
Today brings us our first full moon of the year.
Here are some of its (many) names again, (including celtic, pagan, japanese and even native american)! GREAT SPIRIT MOON
COLD MOON WOLF MOON
OLD MOON MOON AFTER YULE
HUNGER MOON QUITE MOON
COOKING MOON STORM MOON MOON OF THE TERRIBLE
Take your pick.
Lets hope the sky's clear wherever you are...

| | | Re: First full moon of 2008 Beautiful sunrise this morning...Its the Wolf Moon for me. It will appear full in the sky at 13.35...Hopefully if the sky stays clear this evening will try and get a few shots later..
Looks like its going to be a clear but fresh day out there.
Enjoy..

| | | Re: First full moon of 2008 Yes a beautiful morning, dare I say a real winter morning, cold and clear. The moon was so bright. Storm moon is appropriate we had torrential rain and a thunderstorm yesterday afternoon, came out of no where.

Rob | Yes, Rob.
Thats one of them anyway. (I think I put two native american tribes names for the January moon up. It was late. I can't remember which).
Another Native American name for this full moon, is of course:
Um heap big moon.

Wondering if Juliejam managed to get her photos
