| | | Astrophotography - advice please! I've been interested in astronomy for a long time but have never actually had a telescope I use my powerful birdwatching binoculars and Pentax spotting scope, which give reasonable views of the brighter objects such as planets. I occasionally attach my Canon 30D to the scope body to get photos of the moon.
Of course, I would like to get a telescope one day! But if / when I do, I would be interested in doing some proper astrophotography with it, and I read this article with interest. I was just wondering if anyone had any recommendations for a fairly cheap (under £350, preferably) telescope / mount for this kind of exercise?
