| | | Help me decide on a new scope or binoculars. I'm pretty much new to astronomy and have decided to invest in a telescope. Does anybody recommend a scope for around 1000 quid? The trouble is if I spend this money I can't get my new binoculars for birdwatching. Is it worth splitting the money between the 2 and getting both but I'm presuming the quality of each will be less?
Any advice would be welcome to help end my dilemma.
Cheers, Mark. |

| | | Re: Help me decide on a new scope or binoculars. Hi Mark - you can get a very good telescope without needing to spend all that £1000.
Maybe spend £700 or £800 on a scope, leaving you enough for a very good pair of binoculars
