| | | Jupiter For anybody into astronomy, Jupiter is starting to look very bright . It will carry on becoming brighter until the beginning of May. Jupiter rises a little after 10pm, almost any reasonable scope will show some of its belts, one of the best objects for anyone new to astronomy paul |

| | | Re: Jupiter maybe so Mark, but that really is a photo of jupiter and if you zoom in a bit, you can just make out one of its moons. When the photo was taken Jupiter was showing really well. Its just a shame I did not have the camera that I have got now.................Jon |

| | | Re: Jupiter Saturn is also still in the sky at the moment, another bright object if you look in the early evening to the south west. With a good scope you should be able to see the rings. This is my favorite planet for gazing at. |

| | | Re: Jupiter Anyone wanting to find where any celestial object is, have a look at this site: http://skyandtelescope.com/observing...t/skychart.asp You'll need the latest Java software installed if using windows.
You can put in your location details, and it will show exactly what you can see, with the full id. |
