Have fun in the snow and the chance tp see the spectacular Northern lights with guest astronomers including Chris Lintott, presenter BBC sky at night.
I booked a place last week.
Various dates and departure airports throughout december for just £549.95 per person.
You will depart by air from your chosen airport at around 9am, landing finland at around 2;30pm local time. In the early evening youll enjoy an illustrated talk about the northern lights by our guest astronomers before boarding the coach for the short ride to a dinner venue, away from light pollution. You then have the opportunity to take in the atmosphere outside around a roaring bonfire while you wait in anticipation for the lights to appear. Later you'll return by coch to hotel, hopefully after experincing natures wonderful lightshow.
On day 2, after breakfast you check out of the hotel and depart for your chosen activity: either a three and a half hour snowmobile safari or a dog sleigh expedition.
The price includes:
Flight to lapland and return with in flight catering.
All airport and security taxes
Overnight accommodation in a twin/double or family room
Dinner on Saturday, breakfast and lunch on Sunday
Northern lights talk by guest astronomer and all overseas coaching
Use of thermal clothing
Chosen acitivity. |
