| | | meteor shower I dont think April is the most exciting month for astronomy, but there is the Lyrids meteor shower that peaks on the 22nd, if we are lucky up to 15 meteors an hour can be seen  paul |

| | | Re: meteor shower  I sat in our green house one year with my son when there was a meteor shower and we saw loads out of the cornewr of our eyes never straight on.
It was good though,  I'll be looking out for them

I will be getting my telescope out and settingit up.
I will have to darken th room and draw the curtains so people accross the road don't think I'm a peeper  . I don't have a garden now and live on the main road so there is a great deal of light pollutiomn. but I will type in the coodinates and see what I can see when the time comes.
