| Re: Nesting LT Tit Hi everyone,
Over a period of 30 years or so, I have often found Long-tailed Tits building nests in mid-February, but have never found their nest to be complete before mid-March. Given the thousands of feathers, bits of moss, lichens and spiders' webs that they use to build the nest, I think it must take a period of several weeks to completely build the nest. Certainly, it has always taken the LOTTIs I have watched that long at least to build. Does anyone know of any quicker builders?
