My first would be Derbyshire as it is only 10 minutes walk away! There is something for everyone who enjoys the countryside. It's been my back garden for over 50 years
My second has to be the Yorkshire Dales National Park, especially along the river Swale between Keld and Richmond.
… and my third would be the Yorkshire coast, especially from Robin Hood’s Bay to Runswick Bay. There is no other better coastline.
But I must confess, I do love the lake district
