well it's a good idea but it's only a small garden and the fence panels are fine I just need new posts (and my man

to help me fix it ) . A dry stone wall at my folks place would be brilliant - I'm thinking of adopting their garden and bunging in a load of nest boxes and bat boxes.... My parents built their house in a field and it's been fascinating watching it recover from being a fertilised hay field Dad's never feritlized it and after 30 years the wildflowers are coming back and as the substrate is limstone there's a calcareous nature to some of the species. I find it quite exciting now it seems to change for the better every year, for example year before last was the first time I've seen a
Common Blue Butterfly and last year there were three!! Brilliant!! Last year I am tempted to help things along by planting particular plants - but I'm actually really interested to see what turns up by itself...........
