Just got back from field teaching in a South London school. The roads were chaos and we drove around a London plain tree that had come down. It was huge. I can't imagine what that was like crashing down. We also saw a wall, about 80' or so long and about 7' high had crashed down. Fire brigade were very busy and Dartford bridge closed.
We've lost a fence panel,so we've got off lightly.Winds have dropped a little now.
