Thank you so much, everyone for the really warm welcome - specially as we're having awful weather here in Texas. It hasn't got above 38 degrees F. (3C) here today and everywhere is suffering from ice storms and even snow in Dallas/Fort Worth, which is over 300 miles away to the north of me. I live just outside Houston and our normal winter temperatures in January are 60-70F (15-21C)!

Hi goosey - I used to live in Holland - we were based in The Hague for 4 years.
Hi Paul - thanks for mentioning the Worldwide Wildlife site - I didn't know about it. We certainly have a lot of wildlife here. Living here got me really interested in birding.
