I'm worse than the children for 'daydreaming' during assembly. Not actually daydreaming, I'm gazing out watching the birds on the opposite roof, watching the clouds rushing by, noticing a beetle walking along a window ledge, seeing the local fox creep into the grounds, whilst the 'quiet' has descended on the school, during this time.
I've been caught out though! They know what I'm like now, so I get a bit of ribbing from the staff. I like noticing things that perhaps others don't. Perhaps in a way, I'm worshipping the Lord, but differently.
That's my excuse anyway.
