| learning more English bird-watching? Hi
I have joined this forum on behalf of a good Swiss friend who loves nature, especially bird watching and would like to improve his English by assisting any work done in the nature/ birth watching context. (Ideal would be, if there also was a small language school nearby I think...).
My friend just doesnt want to spend all his time at a language school but rather would like to meet local people and assist them in their work or do excursions with them and by doing that improve his English "in real life".
He is in his mid-forties, father of a son and a very lovable, thoughtful person and used to practical work (loves books, especially Crime Stories, too).
I am aware that this is maybe a very special request, however, may be there is someone out there in England (Wales, Scotland?, the region doesnt matter as long as there are birds and a lovely landscape...) who might have an idea about this.
Obviously, I myself have stayed in Great Britain myself fairly often, however, my friends, unfortunately couldnt help me on this one so far...
Any suggestions?
Best wishes,
