Yes John, it must be frustrating. They can't be far off now though, Warehouse Express are now showing them as pre-order, which must hopefully mean they're somewhere near. I wonder why it's taken so long? I wonder if the sensor crop factor is proving difficult to work with?
I certainly would consider the E500 with a 50-500mm. To have an equivalent 1,000mm zoom lens is VERY tempting.
