In my neck of the woods Paul that would be impossible. No regular bus service from my village.. a dial a bus in the week if you book it and it is available and nothing at all on Sundays. Fraid my cycling days are well and truly behind me.
To go to one of the meets via public transport would require three days. One out.. one there.. and one back... mm.. cept there wouldnt be a bus available to get back. Good where it can be done tho.
