It isn't difficult to arrange these things on a fairly local scale but surely we ought to be working towards "environmentally friendly" transport on a larger scale?
Yes I agree with you Paul. I'd certainly hope that if members live relatively close to each other, then car sharing, as a lot of our members are doing, is essential. We've got to be as green as possible.
Sadly, it's not so easy getting to the more remote reserves etc, without the use of a car and with public transport in this country, not given the priority it should, then it has to be our own modes of transport.

Also it depends on what our members want to see. I'd be hard pushed to see a golden eagle, for instance, in Kent

I suppose if a meeting is set up early enough, we could all start walking!
